Power Palettes, kits, & additions - oh my!

If you don't know how Creative Memories categorizes their products, finding a particular design on my website can be daunting (I know I saw that paper somewhere!). Here's a quick reference guide. This applies to traditional and digital products.

Power Palettes have a basic color scheme. The paper, mats and stickers all go together, and can be used for a variety of occasions. They come in sets - wherein you save a few dollars by buying several items together - or separately as paper packs, ABC stickers, etc. The packages are big enough to do many pages, maybe even a whole album, with 16 sheets of 12x12 paper or 96 Storybox pieces (mats and journaling boxes). Digital power palettes come as one set and can be used on unlimited pages. (prices vary)

Additions are smaller packages designed to scrapbook one occasion, like a birthday or holiday. Each Additions pack comes with 4 sheets of 12x12 paper, 8 mats, a page of stickers and a page of title (word) stickers. The first word in the name tells you which Power Palette it goes with - you can stretch out the Additions package by using it with the basic papers and stickers. ($9)

For example, you can mix the
Primary Basketball Additions                 with the Primary Simple Set,

and the colors coordinate. Or, you can mix the
Jewel Enhanced Set                   with the Jewel Autumn Additions.
There are tons of combinations!

Album kits: The new catalog seems to be getting away from 12x12 album kits and many of them have been replaced with the smaller Additions, which means reduced cost for you. But your consultant may still have some 12x12 kits (Baby boy, Graduation, I Do Wedding for $21-$27). A few 8x8 Power Palette kits are still available (at $17.50 for everything!).
PicFolio Milestones kits have just paper, with the same colors as the Power Palettes (you can use them with your traditional pages, too) sized to slide into the 4x6 and 41/2x61/2 pockets of a Milestones album. They have extra patterns that use can use instead of a picture, and journaling boxes. ($13)

PicFolio Quick kits and Max kits don't necessarily go with the power palettes, but they already contain everything you need to make an album - including borders and designs already stuck onto the page! Quick kits contain the album, too, while Max kits have just the pages and stickers. (CM  recently dropped prices!)

Here's a tip I use all the time: before purchasing a Power Palette or Addition, I look under Help Zone, then Digital Content on my website. You can download a pdf file that shows you every page and element that comes in the kit! Except for a few digital-only themes (like 10 Questions or Recipe Book), the traditional packs have the same designs and components.

Any questions? Just ask me.
